The Feast

Midnight chimes over the darken city.
Pubs filled with drunkards ring out
In hollowed streets of the sick and gritty.
No one hears the sudden cries.

All alone at the witching hour.
Darken streets with hidden eyes.
Watching, lurking in the darkness of power.
Shadows move with every step you take.

Vile creatures stalking their prey.
Off in the distance witches screech.
Heart pounding fast as you run away.
Fear reeks in the air with razor teeth.

Nightmares chasing, breathing down your spine.
Evil abominations gripping you tightly.
Blood glistens off in a straight line.
Your soul being eaten alive.

Onlookers within the darken city
See but a young woman in distress.
Rushing to her aid with worry and pity,
She smiles as she looks upon the feast.
