Gude Ale Keeps Our Heart's Aboon

Miles into the air, a roar.
Not a roar of triumph or defeat,
A roar of joyous laughter!
Rapturous hearts in heat.

Friends gathered near a pub.
Drinking to good times and the worse.
Grinning cheers turn somber.
Old minds thinking of an old verse.

"I am tomorrow, of some future day,
what I establish today.
I am today, what I established yesterday
or some previous day."

Irish proverbs by humble Joyce.
Tomorrow we look forward,
For today we drink to what was,
What is, our moment forward.

Miles into the air, a roar.
Not a roar of triumph or defeat,
A roar of joyous laughter!
Rapturous hearts in heat.

Drinking to times of good,
worse, and celebrating true heart.
Drunkard friends we raise our laughs!
Pathetically singing moments that never part.

Onward's I Suppose

Traveling through murky roads.
Drifting into the unknown.
Humming along with all the toads.
Foot after foot I continue onward.

Destinations don't hold bar.
Adventuring the towns and scaling
Mountain tops in lands bizarre.
Foot after foot I continue onward.

Dodging Kelpie's at river banks.
Trolling the trolls at tow bridges.
Swimming along in these fish tanks.
Foot after foot I continue onward.

Wanted to write a little silly poem about, well, traveling to places you want to be. Whether it's to a new land or simply to the kitchen. Never stop moving to something you want to explore.

Until The Earth Begins To Part Under Skies So Blue

Deep in the chasm of a bleeding heart.
Anguish echoes within it's halls.
Wailing upon tiny fragments of lost dreams.
Stone by stone she forges these walls.

Seeds carried over on the midsummer breeze.
Immersing roots sprout small flowers.
Eyes romantically filled as their lips touch.
Memories of heartfelt hours.

Poisonous grief sickens the flowerbeds.
Wilting petals crumple each year.
Remembering the blood that stains the grounds .
Rain cascades as she sheds a tear.

Cruelest of winter's, a single flower
Blooms in a old woman's garden.
It's radiant beauty towers
Over the discontent of snow covered grief.

Deep in this chasm of a bleeding heart.
In the very center lies love.
A single flower blooms with his essence.
His soul lives below and above.

Waiting one day to kiss her lips once more.

Whispers

Whispers.

Those whispers soothingly urging me to fabricate thoughts.

Thoughts so abstract, forming a singularity.

My mind finally open, connecting all the dots.

Neurons whispering to each other, relaying the words, the idea's throughout my mind.

Sudden emotions rise as I begin to understand the complexity's.

Question is, how do I find the words to describe or define?

Whispers.

Listen to soothing whispers that bear from the depths of my very essence.

Just something I had in mind.

The Larger Picture

Remembering a tiny fragment of boyish joy.
Where I stood in the midst of trees.
Surrounded by natures gift's to enjoy.
Digging my fingers into soft dirt.
Cool warmth of the earth in my palm.

Running through Autumn woods.
Watching reds, oranges, and yellows fall.
Inhaling the scene as if they were baked goods.
Lungs filling with the cool crisp scent of autumn.
Clarity washing me with sudden calm.

Releasing the dirt from my hand.
Gazing at the ground where my feet lie.
At such a young age I begin to understand.
A dot that fits right in the larger picture.
Hearing the wind sing it's psalm

I quietly close my eyes and just enjoy.

2036

Driving the stretch of this old city.
Searching for a peace of mind.
Staring at the decay and gritty
Decent of old ruins of glamorous pride.

Hearing the engine rumble on.
Spellbound to the enduring highway.
Radio playing a song foregone.
Looking out to see a vast wasteland.

Desert of charcoal black.
Nothing living, nothing growing.
Demons we elected wanted to attack.
Fight all to bring back forgotten status.

Driving the stretch of this old road.
Searching for a peace of mind.
Staring out, watching it slowly erode.
Dancing sand winds covering the past.

Doodling Little Moments

Doodling little characters to express.
Her soft hands drawing lines fixing to dots.
Sitting under the old ceder tree alone to musings,
She draws a plump woman in a polka dot dress.

Soft, sweet rose petal cheeks blush
As the character flashes a cute little smile.
Lush elegant hair flows down to shapely hips.
Resembling the creators own natural plush.

Wind blowing the ceder leaves east.
Soft unwavering hands drawing lines to dots.
Creating our plump polka dotted hero friend's
Surrounding her in a joyous feast.

Pen lines darken among the new creations.
Hands pointing, voices laughing in sheer taunts.
Droplets of rain fall upon the polka dotted girl.
Tears fall as they continue their allegations.

Calling her a waste of life, a fat ugly slut.
Such words paint onto the paper,
Furiously being written as the rain pours.
Pen point digs hard  leaving a cut.

The artist herself silently begins to weep.
Recalling that dreadful day with hate.
Examining her right wrist of shame.
Under the ceder tree she wishes to sleep.

Never to wake up until she's thin.
Never to wake up until she's like everyone.
Never to wake up until she's beautiful.
And now she'll begin to hate herself from within.

This is what we need to avoid. There are so many women, young girls who are big, intelligent, and talented. Yet, some people will ridicule them until they are broken inside and out. Some of these wonderful women, young girls will cause harm upon their body to try to take away their emotional pain through psychical. Others will hate themselves and hurt their bodies through false weight-loss drugs, expensive surgeries that may cause prolong health problems. Yet, it is those very same people who say these harmful words who do not care. Some even feel that you have to give overweight people negative feedback for them to lose weight. That isn't correct thinking, thats weightism. I believe all women are beautiful no matter what size they are, I believe that you should feel good about your body and if you want to lose some weight you have to think from a positive mindset and not one of negativity. Instead of worrying about weight, just go out and have fun and be happy. Happiness is one of the major keys to a better life.  At the core of it you have to be strong but never forget if there is a few people who may say harmful degrading words to you, always remember that there is a thousand and more who will love, support, and give you the encouragement of being yourself no matter what size you are. And coming from a male perspective I adore the larger frame on women. So be proud of your body and remember stay positive!
